Lot C2: Rare Concorde memorabilia

A very special momento of the world’s only supersonic airliner – Concorde. This highly limited edition photo certificate, signed by British Airways’ Chief Concorde Pilot Captain Mike Bannister, was carried on board all seven of the iconic aircraft fleet’s final flights – the ultimate commercial service, from New York to London on 24 October 2003, a positioning flight back to the Big Apple, and the very last flights of each of the five Concordes BA operated in service when the fleet was withdrawn from operation.

The photo is A5-sized, and the text is on the reverse side, not to the right as pictured here. Captain Bannister will additionally personalise the reverse side should the successful bidder wish. 

Another copy of this certificate was sold at a charity auction for well over £1,000 shortly after the fleet’s retirement. Another fetched £650 more recently.

A beautiful bowl – along the lines of the examples pictured here – designed, fashioned, crafted and fired in Graffham by our very own village star potter Joanna Morris, a contestant in the first series of TV’s Great Pottery Throw Down.

Lot C5: Pirate ship

What child would not adore playing for hours on end with this magnificent toy pirate ship?!

Made of wood, string and cloth, it features sails and rigging, along with a couple of Jack Tars.

The brig Bracey is around 70 cm (27 ins) long, 28 cm (11 ins) wide, and the mast reaches nearly 62 cm (24 ins) high.
