Services at St Giles Graffham

PARISH EUCHARIST at 10.30am

All are welcome to worship at our main Parish Eucharist which takes place EVERY Sunday at 10.30am at St Giles*. We have large print hymn books and service books; please ask a sides-person if these would help.  *Except one Sunday in Advent when 10.30am Parish Eucharist traditionally takes place at All Saints Chapel instead.

‘CHURCH ON SUNDAY’ at 10.30am

This simpler variation to our Parish Eucharist is offered on the first Sunday of each month and some Festival Days at 10.30am at St Giles. Craft activities for children are provided at these services.   Do join us for refreshments in church afterwards. We have delicious coffee, and often home-made cakes and biscuits here.

PRAYER BOOK MATINS at 9am

On the first Sunday of the month at 9am we also offer a Service of Matins according to the Book of Common Prayer, for all who appreciate this well-loved traditional Service.

FESTIVAL SERVICES

Our parish offers a full range of Services to mark the cycle of the church year.  Please see ‘What’s On: Special Events’ on our website menu for details of forthcoming Seasonal Services at St Giles Church or All Saints’ Chapel.

Assisting at Services

A Serving team assists worship at St Giles in a discreet and calm way, which is greatly appreciated. Sides people have the important role of welcoming people into church for worship and we are grateful to them for fulfilling this role in a friendly and courteous way. We are also appreciative of those who read lessons for Services. Reverend Vivien would be pleased to welcome folk into these ministries of service in our parish. Please see Contact us for Reverend Vivien’s details.
