There has been a faithful act of worship here each Sunday since Domesday. Our sacred site nestles beautifully under the wooded slopes of the South Downs where the ever-changing colours of the trees remind us of the heavenly rhythms of the earth and the varied cycle of our seasons.
A typical Sussex church with its external flintwork and tall spire, St Giles takes its worthy place in the 42 mile long line of Sussex Down churches, which meanders eastward to the “Cathedral of the South Downs” in Alfriston on the South Downs Way.
Our Church is open for everyone each day in daylight hours. We would like to welcome you to our Sunday morning service where we join in worship and prayer together.
We pray that your visit to St Giles in this peaceful haven will provide rest for your soul and that you will journey from here renewed in faith, hope and love.
