May 2025’s edition of Graffham Parish News is out now – with members of the team behind the village’s Easter Market on the front cover and a full report with more pictures of the biggest single annual fund-raiser for the Empire Hall inside. Plans also feature to mark this November’s 150th anniversary of the rededicaftion of St Giles after its rebuilding in honour of former village squire Bishop Samuel Wilberforce and there’s a preview of how the 80th anniversary of VE Day on 8 May will be celebrated here – plus lots more news and all the regular features. If you haven’t received your copy yet, or you live outside the village, you can read it online here.
We are thankful to be able to deliver our magazine free of charge each month to all parish residents and online here. If you would like to help us continue to produce this first class village resource, please click on this link.
Our award-winning Graffham Parish News is published monthly by Graffham with Woolavington Parochial Church Council (PCC) and hand-delivered free of charge to every household in Graffham and East Lavington, as part of our church’s service to the community. As well as details of upcoming church services and activities, it covers EVERYTHING that goes on locally – social events, Graffham and East Lavington Parish Councils, the Empire Hall, schools, the recreation ground and all other clubs, groups and organisations, you name it…
It has recently been honoured as one of the best parish magazines in the UK by the Association of Church Editors, the organisation for teams producing magazines for parish communities of all denominations throughout the country.
The current issue is available also from St Giles Church and Graffham Village Shop – or you can subscribe to have copies posted to you by contacting the editors at editor.graffhamparishnews@gmail.com (the annual cost for a postal subscription is £40.). You can also read the latest edition and a growing backlog of archive editions online by clicking on the link below. Older editions are available from the Graffham Archive.
Although the magazine is distributed free to all households in Graffham and East Lavington, we do invite readers to donate towards its production costs to help keep Graffham Parish News solvent. You donate towards it online here.
