This month’s Graffham’s Parish News
August 2025’s edition of Graffham Parish News is out now – with a pictures on the cover of two weddings held on the same day at St Giles in late June. Inside, there’s news of the launch of an appeal to raise funds to cover the cost of a project to replaster and repaint key areas of the church’s interior ahead of celebrations in November to mark the 150th anniversary of its rededication after its rebuilding in memory of village squire Bishop Samuel Wilberforce. There are also details of Graffham’s play park reaching its own fund-raising target, thanks to a grant from Chichester District Council, and of Lavington Stud and Estate gaining Soil Association organic certification, plus the latest on The Woodcote planning application and the proposed merger between Graffham and East Lavington Parish Councils. There’s an appeal too for more volunteer drivers to support Graffham Health Support Association – and for more villagers to become shareholders in the Graffham Village Shop Association, along with all the regular favourite features. If you haven’t received your copy yet, or you live outside the village, you can read it online here.
